EcoVadis Sustainability Policy Development
The Need
A supplier to the global commercial airline industry was requested by a key customer to obtain a rating from Ecovadis for their business sustainability program.
The Project
- Assess supplier’s existing policies and upgrade
- Define new policy topics required to demonstrate a complete sustainability program
- Write new policies and gain supplier management approval
- Submit program to Ecovadis
The Result
A total of 22 policies were upgraded or developed covering the entire scope of business sustainability and implemented within the supplier’s organization with documentation submitted to Ecovadis for evaluation. After a thorough assessment, Ecovadis awarded a Gold rating to the supplier that represents a ranking in the 96th percentile of all companies assessed globally.
